While you create your advertisements, there are several key points that you might want to keep in mind:

Don't put too much information in your advertisement. Many times, prospects might react too quickly to a feature, which they perceive as a possible negative, without considering the quality of your product or service. By leaving that information out of your advertisement and providing the information within your recorded message, curious callers will call giving you the opportunity to: 1) Fully describe your product or service. 2) Answer general questions they might have and 3)Follow up at a later point in time.

Keep your features to a minimum. Disclosing too much information in your advertisement might not prove as effective as providing just enough to prompt the prospect to call and inquire for more information.

Let your prospects know that by calling your toll-free number, they can receive pre-recorded "pressure-free" information, as well as a full-featured fax sheet(s). While many individuals "browse" paper-based media for information on a product or service they might be interested in, they may not contact you directly until well after they've made a decision to proceed.

To the surprise of many, radio-based advertising is relatively inexpensive and impacts a great number of people. Should you consider expanding your marketing beyond its paper-based format, consider radio as a complementary medium.
Creating the Right Ad
By assisting thousands of professionals who regularly advertise, we assembled some of the most successful ad formats from around the country. In this section, we will provide you with these formats to use to generate tremendous amounts of both calls.
In reviewing these ads, you will notice many successful professionals follow the same guidelines:

- Limit the information you put on your ad. They might just keep looking to see if there is another property that interests them more.
- Provide general consumer information. Don't just provide information on FSBO properties that you represent. Try spot ads. Some of the most successful lead generating ads have been no more than a couple lines! And, this results in cheaper advertising costs.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure that all flyers, newspaper ads, magazine ads, business cards, internet advertisements, yellow page ads, doorknob hangers and mailers, display ONLY your new Information Now toll-free phone number and ad numbers.

It's a fact: Successful People Follow Up! Even if they didn't make a buy decision, you still have a lead that might prove to be valuable in the near future.

Mailers

A mailer can be as simple as a letter re-introducing yourself, your products, and/or your services. However, there are other forms for presenting information to your prospects:
