I started in the Mortgage industry in 1997 fresh out of Michigan State University and went to work with my Senior V.P. Jeremy Stybel. I learned the ins and outs of the mortgage industry at a “small lender” for four years, before founding Atlantis Mortgage in 2001. I noticed people were looking for an alternative to the big bank's fees and cost, so we created "a no bank cost" purchase or refinance. Atlantis Mortgage has closed well over $2 billion dollars in mortgages within the state of Michigan. Outside of the state, we closed another $250 million in refinances and purchases.

My family and free time:

The majority of my free time is spent at home with my family. I have a lovely wife, daughter, and two Airedale Terriers.   I’m a huge pet lover and quite often my dog sits on the couch with me while I work.  As a family, we spend time up in Charlevoix, Michigan at our cottage. We often enjoy taking vacations anyplace warm, and it is mandatory that it has a beach & nice pool. My hobbies are collecting rare spirits, gardening and saving people money.
